I am a young artist, living in the Southern Highlands. As a teenager, I took Slavica Zivkovic’s after school classes at the BDAS, and more recently I have studied ceramic painting with Carmel Malcolm (BDAS) and hand building pottery with Simon Bowley (Sturt).
I was born in France and moved to Australia when I was eleven. Some of my fondest memories were coming out to Australia to see the extended family and working on my grandparent’s farm.
As a teenager, I have regularly entered artwork into the Young Artist Competition held by the BDAS and over the years won 3rd prize, 1st prize and an encouragement award.
I have combined my love of animals and painting in my watercolour animal series, which I have turned into greeting and post cards.
My latest passion is ceramics. Working with both poured and hand built pieces I use traditional Italian hand painting techniques to achieve French, Moroccan and other sometimes naïve or quirky designs. I also create ceramic jewellery!
