I have been a hobby potter for a lot of years, though never prolific.

About 4 years ago I was able to build a studio at home where I can pot to my heart’s content.

Since then I have fully retired from work I have more time and my hobby has become ever more absorbing. I have gradually build up the equipment to include a small electric kiln which I fire using a generator.

A couple of years ago, it was time to decide what to do with the myriad of creations accumulated on my shelves. Going to Picton Creative traders Market on one Sunday per month was suggested to me. This has been a fun thing to do, sometimes selling, sometimes not.

In April 2016 I heard about Angus and his Highlands Handmade Shop in Moss Vale and decided to also give this idea a go.

Today I am trying to make some useful and interesting pieces, but have no set ideas. I prefer to not make to order though suggestions are always welcome.

I make what I like and hope that people find them interesting enough to buy for themselves or as a gift for others.

I hope that you enjoy seeing my pieces and perhaps like them enough to want to have some of them in your home.
